Ojogbon Promises Transformation, Security in ACHSOSAN Presidential Bid

Comrade Moruf Kolawole Yusuf, widely known as Ojogbon, has declared his intention to lead the Area Community High School Old Students Association (ACHSOSAN) as its Global President, unveiling a transformative agenda focused on mentorship, security, and unity.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Yusuf described his candidacy as a call to reposition the association for greater impact on the lives of its members, current students, and the community. “Our alma mater can be a beacon of excellence, a hub of empowerment, and a source of pride for all alumni,” he said.

Yusuf, a two-term Vice Global President of ACHSOSAN, emphasized the importance of mentorship in his plans, pledging to establish programs that connect alumni with students. “A structured mentorship initiative will guide students on career paths, entrepreneurship, and life skills, equipping them to excel in a competitive world,” he explained.

Security also features prominently in Yusuf’s manifesto. He revealed plans to install CCTV cameras, perimeter fencing, and streetlights around the school. “A safe environment is critical to learning and development,” he stated. Yusuf added that collaborations with local security agencies would further enhance safety measures.

Beyond security, Yusuf aims to address infrastructure deficits by renovating and expanding classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. He noted that modern facilities would create a more conducive learning environment and reduce overcrowding.

To ensure access to quality education, Yusuf promised to launch a scholarship scheme targeting underprivileged but talented students while supporting alumni in need of financial assistance for further education. “Education is a right, not a privilege,” he remarked, pledging to partner with NGOs and philanthropists to fund these initiatives.

Yusuf also highlighted plans to foster stronger alumni connections through annual reunions, regional gatherings, and a digital platform that will provide updates and facilitate active participation in association activities. “Alumni engagement is the backbone of our association’s success,” he said.

In a bid to promote inclusivity, Yusuf proposed introducing Diaspora executives to the association's leadership structure. He noted that alumni living abroad could bring valuable resources, ideas, and networks to the table, ensuring a global perspective in decision-making.

Community impact is another pillar of Yusuf’s agenda. He pledged to champion health campaigns, environmental cleanups, and youth empowerment projects, emphasizing the importance of uplifting the school’s host community.

Additionally, he promised to organize workshops on personal safety, cybersecurity, and emergency response to enhance security awareness among students and staff.

Yusuf’s leadership philosophy revolves around sustainability and inclusivity. He assured members that all initiatives would be institutionalized to ensure continuity. “I am committed to building a legacy of progress that endures beyond my tenure,” he said.

In a heartfelt appeal to ACHSOSAN members, Yusuf called for collective action. “Together, we can transform our association into a global force for good. Your votes and support are crucial to making this vision a reality,” he stated.
