OGUNCCIMA, Rematech Announce Land Raffle for Trade Fair Attendees

Business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs attending the 2025 Gateway International Trade Fair in Abeokuta have more than networking and business deals to look forward to, as the Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), in collaboration with Rematech Properties Ltd, is offering an extraordinary reward—a free plot of land.

Through a raffle draw, one participant will win a 250-square-meter plot in Kobape, Abeokuta, an initiative aimed at promoting investment, wealth creation, and real estate development in Ogun State.

The trade fair, which began on February 7 and runs until February 17, has attracted business executives, manufacturers, and potential investors, with Rematech Properties standing out for its commitment to making land ownership more accessible.

Participants interested in the land raffle can obtain tickets for as low as N500 at the trade fair venue or at Rematech Properties Ltd’s office in Ijebu-Ode. The winner will be announced on February 17 during the event’s closing ceremony.

Speaking on the significance of the initiative, OGUNCCIMA President, Lion Niyi Oshiyemi, described the collaboration as a reflection of the chamber’s commitment to business growth and economic development.

"Our mission is to not only create a thriving business environment but also to offer opportunities that empower individuals. This partnership with Rematech Properties is a way of ensuring that our trade fair goes beyond transactions and leaves a lasting impact on participants. Owning land is a vital step toward economic empowerment, and we are glad to facilitate this," he said.

For Rematech Properties Ltd, the partnership aligns with its vision of making real estate investment affordable and accessible to Nigerians.

"Land ownership is fundamental to financial security and investment growth. This giveaway is part of our broader goal to empower people through real estate. We believe that by collaborating with OGUNCCIMA, we are offering someone a life-changing opportunity," said Rematech CEO, Ola Isaac.

The initiative has generated significant interest from both visitors and stakeholders, drawing commendation from government representatives and foreign dignitaries.

During his visit to the Rematech stand, Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Bolu Owotomo, who represented Governor Dapo Abiodun, commended the company’s effort in boosting investment within the state.

"This partnership exemplifies the kind of innovation we need to drive Ogun State’s economic expansion. Encouraging land ownership through business participation is a brilliant way to empower our people and attract more investors," he stated.

Similarly, Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Christophe Bazivamo, highlighted the potential for further collaboration between Nigerian and Rwandan investors in real estate and trade.

"The real estate sector is a powerful driver of economic transformation. I am impressed by Rematech’s vision and see great opportunities for partnerships that could benefit both our countries. Initiatives like this foster sustainable development and encourage cross-border investments," Bazivamo remarked.
